IHF Trophy handball: India clinches titles

India clinched both the men’s and women’s titles defeating Pakistan and Bangladesh respectively in the IHF Trophy handball tournament in Kathmandu.

The results:

Finals:

Men: India bt Pakistan 40-20;

Women: India bt Bangladesh 44-16;

Third place:

Men: Yemen bt Afghanistan 41-31;

Women: Nepal bt Yemen 31-9.

Semifinals:

Women: India bt Yemen 65-9; Bangladesh bt Nepal 40-13.

Best player:

Men: Samsher Singh (Ind);

Women: B.P. Rimpy (Ind).
