K. Humpy settled for a 67-move draw with black pieces against Russia’s Girya Olga to win the FIDE Women’s Grand Prix chess title at Tashkent on Monday.
Humpy tallied eight points from 11 rounds to top the 12-player field. With D. Harika (6.5), placed second after the penultimate round, crashing to a 38-move loss to second-eeded Chinese Zhao Xue, the victorious duo of Bela Khotenashivili and Kateryna Lagno shared the second spot with seven points.

Harika (6.5); Guliskhan Nakhvayeva (Kaz, 1.5) lost to Kateryna Lagno (Ukr, 7); Bela Khotenashvili (Geo, 7) bt Antoaneta Stefanova (Bul, 4.5); Nafisa Muminova (Uzb, 3) lost to Alexandra Kosteniuk (Rus, 5.5); Ju Wenjun (Chn, 6) drew with Elina Danielian (Arm, 5).
