Bangladesh GM Enamul Hossain regained the lead in the eighth round of the Vizag GMs international open chess tournament with a win over Andrey Vovk at the Port indoor stadium here on Wednesday.
In another game, GM M.R. Lalith Babu lost to IM G.A. Stany.
Lalith opened with the English Hedgehog variation and the game continued equally up to the 20th move before he blundered on the next move and lost his rook.
Lalith resigned on the 22nd move.
K.S. Raghunandan, a young boy from Hyderabad, beat two IM-norm holders and the experienced C.R.G. Krishna.
