Heena finishes fourth

Heena Sidhu took the fourth place in the women's air pistol event with a score of 484.8 in the ongoing shooting World Cup in Fort Benning.

Heena shot 385 in the qualification phase following a series of 98, 98, 96 and 93. She came up with a score of 99.8 in the final, which was below her best.

She fell 1.2 points behind Guo Wenjun of China for the bronze, despite shooting 0.9 points better than the Chinese in the final.

Last year, Heena won a silver medal in the Beijing World Cup and finished fourth in the Munich World Cup.

Anisa Sayyed also came up with an impressive 384, following rounds of 96, 95, 96 and 97, but she was shooting in the MQS section.

Gagan sixth

Gagan Narang took the sixth place in men's air rifle with a total of 698.9. In fact, Narang had to get through the qualifying shoot-off with three others after four tied for three places with 596.
