Hamilton fastest in final practice for Canadian GP

Lewis Hamilton was the fastest driver in the final practice at the Formula One Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.

For the second session in a row, Hamilton’s Mercedes posted the fastest lap at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The 2008 world champion completed the 4.361-km course in 1 minute, 15.610 seconds.

Felipe Massa was second, about half a second back. Hamilton’s Mercedes teammate and current Formula One points leader Nico Rosberg was third in practice.

Mercedes have won all six Formula One races so far this season.

Qualifying was scheduled for later on Saturday, with the race on Sunday.
