Rahil Gangjee shot his only over-par round of the week to end at tied 58th at the Midwest Classic on Webcom Tour, formerly called Nationwide golf.

Gangjee shot 72 after rounds of 68, 71 and 70.

Rookie Shwan Stefani rode on a slice of luck to claim the title. Stefani benefitted as his second shot on the 18th off a lob wedge flew over the flag, bounced off the mesh fencing at the base of the sky boxes and rolled back onto the green and stopped within three feet of the cup for a birdie chance.

He seized it and won the title as Russell Henley and Luke List ended second.

Stefani shot 64 and finished at 267, while List carded 67 and Henley shot 68 to finish at 269.

List’s tied second was his sixth top-10 and he was now on top of the money list.

The Webcom Tour now moves on to Knoxville, TN for the News Sentinel Open.
