A change of guard is likely to happen in the Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India (FMSCI) office-bearers on January 29 when the Madras High Court orders to open the ballot box of the elections held to choose the FMSCI council on December 23.
The High Court had sought time to analyse FMSCI’s vacate petition against an interim injection on the National body’s regulations that allows only non-profit clubs to be members of its Council.
Mumbai-based Sportscraft, a professional organisation, had obtained the interim injection on November 28.
The court was initially expected to pronounce the verdict on January 8, but had posted it to January 29 (Wednesday).
