FIDE women’s Grand Prix: Humpy keepssole lead

Koneru Humpy maintained her sole lead after drawing with Georgia’s Nana Dzagnidze in the ninth round of the FIDE women’s Grand Prix chess tournament at Dilijan, Armenia, on Wednesday.

With just two rounds left, the top-seeded Indian has 6.5 points and is the only unbeaten player.

The results (ninth round) : Anna Ushenina (Ukr) 4 lost to Viktroija Cymlite (Ltu) 4.5; Tatiana Kosintseva (Rus) 5 drew with Elina Danielian (Arm) 3; Bela Khotenashvili (Geo) 3.5 drew with D. Harika (Ind) 4; Anna Muzychuk (Slo) 5.5 drew with Tuvshintugs Batchimeg (Mgl) 4.5; Antoaneta Stefanova (Bul) 4 bt Olga Girya (Rus) 4; Koneru Humpy (Ind) 6.5 drew with Nana Dzagnidze (Geo) 5.
