End of Indian badminton campaign at Japan Open

India’s campaign in the Japan Open badminton tournament ended on Friday after Ajay Jayaram, K. Srikanth and H.S. Prannoy lost their respective men’s singles quarterfinals matches at the $200,000 Super Series event here.

The results:

Huan Gao bt H.S. Prannoy 21-11, 20-22, 21-13; Tien Minh Nguyen bt Ajay Jayaram 21-18, 21-13; Kenichi Tago bt K. Srikanth 21-18, 21-9.
