For the second successive day, all the Indians won as expected in the Commonwealth Games badminton competition at the Siri Fort Complex here on Sunday.

On a day when all seeded players on view prevailed without being stretched, Saina Nehwal, Aditi Mutatkar, Chetan Anand and P. Kashyap won in straight games to move into the third round.

Top seed Saina, who is not expected to be tested until the anticipated final against second seeded Malaysian Wong Mew Choo, brushed aside Welsh challenger Sarah Thomas 21-5, 21-9 in just 17 minutes. Aditi, too, took precisely the same time as Saina to dismiss Sri Lankan Subodha Dahanayake 21-14, 21-7.

Kashyap seeded six and is due to play fourth seed Mohammad Hafiz Hashim in the quarterfinals, made it past Charles Pyne (Jam) 21-5, 21-12 while third seed Chetan Anand advanced at the expense of Nigeria's Ebenezar Fagbemi 21-12, 21-6.

In the pre-quarterfinals of mixed doubles on Monday, it will be an all-India affair with second seeded V. Diju and G. Jwala playing Rupesh Kumar and Ashwini Ponnappa.
