Indian squash star Dipika Pallikal played one of the best games of her career in the opening round of the Carol Weymuller Open in New York when she recovered from two games down and saved a match-ball in the third to upset Australia’s No. 8 seed Kasey Brown 6-11, 10-12, 13-11, 11-8, 11-9 and reach the quarterfinals of the WSA Gold 50 event.

Pallikal will meet top seed Nicol David, the world No.1 from Malaysia who won the title in 2005. The 30-year-old dispatched Australia's Donna Urquhart 11-8, 11-5, 11-4.
