CWG: K. Srikanth leads India to badminton team event semi-finals

India breezed past Mauritius 3-0 in the mixed team event in badminton at the Carrrara Sports Arena 2 here on Saturday and made it to the semifinals.

Satwik Rankireddy and Chirag Chandrasekhar took just 26 minutes to beat Aatish Lubah and Chrsitopher Jean Paul 21-12, 21-3.

Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki N. Reddy made it 2-0. The pair broke no sweat in dispatching Aurelie Marie Elea Allet and Nick Chan-Lam 21-8, 21-7. K. Srikanth downed Georges Julien Paul, 21-12, 21-4 in 29 minutes to complete the rout.

In the semifinals to be held on Sunday, India will take on Singapore, which beat Australia 3-0.
