Union Sports Minister M.S. Gill formally opened the headquarters of the Organising Committee (OC) Commonwealth Games (CWG) here on Monday.

The Minister was taken around major functional areas and saw presentations made by functional area heads of the OC.

The new office, situated at the New Delhi City Centre in front of the historic Jantar Mantar, is spread over nine floors to accommodate 1200 workforce belonging to 34 functional areas.

The Technology Operations Centre, which will function from this office, will be the nerve centre of all the Games results and venue infrastructure operations.
