Spanish cycling professional Alberto Contador tested positive for doping four times during his victorious 2010 Tour de France the Spanish sports paper Marca said Tuesday.
Marca said that a report issued by the Spanish cycling federation RFEC said that the three-time Tour champion Contador tested positive for clenbuterol on four consecutive days and should be banned for a year.
Contador last week appealed against the one year ban, claiming that the positive result came from contaminated meat.
