Madras Motor Sport Club (MMSC) will host a double-header at the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) here from August 22 to 24.

The MMSC-FMSCI National racing championship (NRC) will be joined by the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross championship. While the NRC will feature 13 races, the Supercross championship will have nine.

The National Supercross championship, which is being organised by Godspeed, will return to Chennai after a decade and will see over 100 riders in action.

In the National racing championship Formula Ford 1,600cc category, 16-year-old Tarun Reddy has seen his lead in the MRF FF 1,600 Championship cut to just six points as he and Advait Deodhar head into the penultimate round. Vikash Anand will also be a threat after bouncing back with three consecutive podiums in Coimbatore in the last round.
