India entered the semifinals in both the boys’ and girls’ sections in the Asian junior squash championship in Seoul.
The Indian girls topped their pool, defeating Japan 3-0 with Anaka Alankamony putting India ahead early by winning her match with a commanding performance.
Aparajitha Balamurukan needed four games to seal India’s place in the semifinals while Lakshya Ragavendran won the final match with ease.
The boys raced into the last four defeating Iran 3-0.
Mahesh Mangaonkar led the charge and later Kush Kumar ensured India’s place in the semifinals against Hong Kong.

Girls: India bt Japan 3-0 (Anaka Alankamony bt Risa Sugimoto 11-3, 11-6, 11-8.
