Asian junior championship in July

After 2005, the Asian junior table tennis championship will return to the Capital in July this year at the Yamuna Sports Complex here.

The calendar (International and domestic events in India during 2011-12):July 7-12: North Zone ranking in Srinagar; July 20-24: Asian Junior championship in New Delhi; Aug. 17-22: Inter-institutional championship at Burnpur (Bengal); Aug. 23-28: East Zone ranking at Bolepur, Bengal; South zone rankings (dates and venue to be confirmed); Sept (dates to be announced): India Cup at a venue in Bengal or Rajasthan); Sept. 28 to Oct. 2: India Open junior (ITTF premier circuit) at Dehradun; Nov. 8-13: Central Zone ranking at Gandhidham; Dec. 5-11: National cadet and sub-junior championship at Kochi; Dec. 20-26: National Youth and junior championship at Siliguri; Jan. 23-29: National championship at Lucknow. — Special Correspondent
