Asian Indoor Games: Neena Praveen to represent India

Neena Praveen, the current Tamil Nadu number one in women’s snooker has been selected to represent India in the 2013 Asian indoor and martial art games to be held at Incheon in South Korea from June 29 to July 6.

The qualification took place in Bangalore where a national camp was on for the top eight cueists. The top two players qualified at the end of a selection tournament, Neena was one and the other was Keerath Bhandal of New Delhi.

Neena, who will be taking part in two events — nine-ball pool and six-Red snooker, is the only Indian woman cueist in the top-100 ranking in the World pro pool list.

A TNBSA member, she has thanked officials R.B. Ganesh, Rajmohan and D. Shashikant and the Association for all the encouragement and support.
