Seasoned campaigner Alok Kumar and Sandeep Gulati will spearhead the Indian challenge in the World 9-ball pool championship to be held at Doha, Qatar from June 22 to 29.
India will also be sending a four-member contingent headed by Alok in the World Team pool championship to be held in Beijing, China from June 30 to July 6, Billiards and Snooker Federation of India said in a statement today.
The other Indian members for the World Team event are Gulati, Rafath Habib and Neena Praveen while Derek Sippy will be coach for both the tournaments.
