Airbus from Ernakulam won the team of four duplicate title in the first Dr. K.P. Abdul Majeed memorial all-Kerala open bridge tournament, organised by the Kerala Bridge Association, at the Lotus Club here on Sunday.
Afshar Majeed and Paul Abraham won the pairs event for the Chakiat Sankara Menon Trophy. George P. Korah, the Lotus Club Secretary, gave away the prizes.
Final placings: Team of four duplicate: 1. Airbus, Ernakulam (K.M. Mathew, Mohan, V. Bejoy, Antony Leons, Robins Jacob, 9 VPs), 2. Gosree, Ernakulam (A.G. Mathew, Gummy Salem, M.G. Geevarghese, Madhukar Rao, P.S. Kurien, 4 VPs). Pairs: 1. Paul Abraham & Afshar Majeed (186 IMPs), 2. N. Madhukar Rao & M.G. Geevarghese (174 IMPs) .
