A clash in dates has forced cueist Pankaj Advani to skip the International snooker championship in order to compete in the World billiards championships later this month.

The billiards championship at Leeds, England, ends on October 28, which leaves little time for his participation in the snooker tournament which begins on the same day in Chengdu, China. On his decision to pick the billiards tournament, Advani said:While an ideal situation would have allowed me to participate in both events, the clash of dates has forced me to pick one.”
