Red Bull on Saturday launched the car they hope will give Sebastian Vettel a fourth successive Formula One championship title.
The Renault-powered RB9 was unveiled at Red Bull’s works at Milton Keynes, with team principal Christian Horner underlining the team’s determination to keep ahead of their rivals.
“There’s a fierce determination to keep both (championship) trophies in the cabinet here,” Horner said.
Red Bull have won both the drivers’ and constructors’ titles for the past three years.
“Our expectations are high,” said Vettel, who became the youngest ever triple champion when he won the 2012 title by three points over Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso.
The new Red Bull has a change in livery with purple sidepods to promote its new sponsor, Japanese car manufacturer Infiniti, and continues to feature a stepped nose.
