No date has yet been set for a meeting of the World Motorsport Council (WMSC) into Ferrari’s victory at Sunday’s German Grand Prix, motorsport’s ruling body the FIA confirmed to DPA on Monday.

Fernando Alonso won the race at Hockenheim but only after teammate Felipe Massa appeared to allow the two-time world champion pass on the 49th lap.

The Italian marquee was later fined 100,000 dollars by race stewards for a breach of Formula One’s rules regarding team orders influencing a race result and the WMSC could still award the victory to third-placed finisher Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull.
