MotoGP Yamaha Factory Racing team Jorge Lorenzo of Spain steers his motorcycle during the qualifying sessions on Saturday.
Jorge Lorenzo beat pole sitter Casey Stoner to win the Catalunya Grand Prix on Sunday and extend his overall lead over the defending Moto GP champion.
Lorenzo kept Stoner from making it seven straight victories from pole, with Honda’s Dani Pedrosa eventually finishing second to his Yamaha rival.
The Spanish rider extended his overall series lead over Stoner, who finished fourth for Honda, to 20 points from five races.
