Kimi Raikkonen will stay at Lotus for the 2013 Formula One season, the team said on Monday.
“We’re delighted that Kimi is staying with us for 2013!” Lotus posted on Twitter.
A promotional video of the team on YouTube had captions saying: “You liked Kimi joining Lotus F1 Team this year — you will like it even more next year” and “Kimi Raikkonen and Lotus F1 Team in 2013.
The story continues.” Raikkonen, 33, won the 2007 world title for Ferrari and returned to the sport after two years in rallying this year at Lotus.
Teammate Romain Grosjean is also expected to stay at Lotus after getting through the last two races without complications after earlier incidents saw him banned for one race.
