Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton heaped praise on the Buddh International Circuit describing the track as very impressive.

With the McLaren Mercedes here, Hamilton said, “The race coming to India will do a world of good to the people in India,. That is quite awesome. I always believed people in India follow only cricket but it is nice that they know so much about F1. The race will have positive impact.”

Button agreed, “It is going to have an impact on lot of young kids and young drivers who want to take up racing. India has two good drivers (Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok). I drove with Narain (in F3) and I know he is damn good. But here he is driving one of the slowest cars.”

On the race, Hamilton noted, “The season is almost over but we still have the pressure to do well. The experience here will help us for the next year.”

Button observed, “The turns are wider and there will be chances of overtaking even at the turn. It is important to finish strongly. We are focussed.”
