Adrian Sutil was fined and will lose five places on the starting grid of the next Formula One race over a collision at Sunday’s South Korean Grand Prix.
Race stewards said the Force India driver Sutil was aware of brakes problems when he collided with the Sauber of Kamui Kobayashi.
As a result, he was fined 10,000 dollars (7,200 euros) on top of the grid penalty in two weeks in Brazil. Kobayashi was able to continue and came eighth. Swiss Torro Rosso driver Sebastien Buemi also loses five places on the Brazil grid over a collision on Sunday with Virgin’s Timo Glock.
