Rohit Kumar emerged master marauder, combining well with best defender Mohit Chillar to carve out a 29-27 victory for Bengaluru Bulls over Puneri Paltan in the STAR Sports ProKabaddi League season four here on Monday night. At half-time, the southern side led 10-8.

The Bulls climbed to fifth position with 13 points from four games, while the Pune squad, despite its second successive defeat, topped the table at 20 points after half a dozen outings.

Paltan went ahead after the break, leading 20-16 in the 32nd minute. Two super tackles had the Bulls drawing level at 20 and even going up 22-21.

An all out by the Paltan saw the lead change hands to 26-23 in the favour of the western side. Rohit scored a point in the last minute and with a super raid, 28 seconds from the finish turned the tables on the Paltan.

In the second match, Telugu Titans recorded its first win of the season, subduing Bengal Warriors 35-18 after leading 15-8 at half-time. Spurred by skipper Rahul Chaudhari’s 10 raid points and Sandeep Dhull’s eight tackle points in defence, the host made its intentions clear right from the outset.
