Rajasthan Royals was almost present in full strength at the optional practice session ahead of its clash against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens on Friday.

Led by captain Rahul Dravid, Royals had an exhaustive session under lights.

Royals would be looking for its second ‘away’ win to consolidate its position in the league standings.

Placed third with 12 points from nine matches, the visitor practised for more than two hours under the watchful eyes of coach Paddy Upton. Players like of Sanju Vishwanadh, Owais Shah, Ajinkya Rahane, Stuart Binny, Siddharth Trivedi, Dishant Yagnik and Ajit Chandila having a prolonged session to acclimatise to the hot and humid conditions.

Those who missed the session were all-rounder Shane Watson, Brad Hogg, Brad Hodge and S. Sreesanth, who preferred a day off.
