The World Series Hockey season-II will be played from December 15 to January 20, 2013.
Nimbus Sport Chief Operating Officer (COO) Yannick Colaco said: “We are delighted to announce the dates of WSH 2. Season-I was a resounding success for all the stakeholders (players, commercial partners, franchise owners and above all hockey fans).
“The IHF President, R K Shetty, has said the WSH has clearly emerged as the biggest hockey league in the world, the second biggest sports league in India after the IPL and that the second season will be bigger and better.’’
According to Nimbus the inaugural WSH was watched in over 30 countries on television, in over 65 countries on YouTube and also that the unique television tune-ins in India was over 32 million; triple that of the English Premier League in the same period.
