Women’s team for Champions Challenge

The Indian women’s hockey team will attempt to qualify for its maiden Champions Trophy in the Champions Challenge I scheduled to be held in Glasgow from April 27 to May 4.

The team was announced by Hockey India on Thursday.

The team : Goalkeepers : Yogita Bali, Savita; defenders : Deep Grace Ekka, Deepika, Sunita Lakra, Kirandeep Kaur, Namita Toppo, Monika Malik; midfielders : Sushila Chanu, Ritu Rani, Lily Chanu, Chanchan Devi, Soundarya Yendala; forwards : Anuradha Devi, Poonam Rani, Vandana Katariya, Navneet Kaur, Neha Goyal.
