Karnataka rode on Deepak Beijwad’s double strike to record a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over Tamil Nadu in a Pool ‘A’ match of the Alchemist Federation Cup hockey tournament at the Shivaji Stadium here on Thursday.

The results: Pool A: Karnataka 4 (Deepak Beijwad 2, A.D. Cariappa, P.S. Changappa) bt Tamil Nadu 3 (Vinod Rayer 2, Adam Sinclair); Delhi 4 (Ashok Kumar 2, Rajbir Yadav, Ravi) bt Mumbai 2 (Osafa-ur-Rehman, Bikas Toppo).

Pool B: Uttar Pradesh 5 (Pramod Kumar, Sarabjit Singh, Sunny Sonkar, Pratinder Singh, Farooqh) bt Haryana 2 (Samsher, Pravesh); Punjab 22 (Parvinder Singh 8, Rajin Kandulna 5, Gurdeep Singh 4, Jagroop Singh 2, Varun Kumar, Gurjant Singh, Ajit Pandit) bt Manipur 1 (O. Boniyam).
