The Indian hockey squad, preparing for the London Olympics, was felicitated by Emcure Pharmaceuticals here on Monday.
All the players and support staff were presented with an i-phone by Satish Mehta, CEO, and Arun Khanna (COO).
Captain Bharat Chetri said: “We understand that the entire nation is behind us and we are working extremely hard to ensure a podium finish.”
Chief coach Michael Nobbs said he was quite pleased in guiding a talented bunch of youngsters to the Olympics, and expected them to become world-beaters soon.
