Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab moved into the quarterfinals of the National women’s hockey championship here on Friday.

As many as 11 players hit the target as Haryana outclassed Andhra Pradesh 22-0 in a Pool B match. Uttar Pradesh banked on Deepika Sharma’s five goals to record a convincing 13-0 win over Bengal in Pool H.

Sadhna Singh, who scored six goals, led Punjab to a commanding 18-0 victory over Jammu and Kashmir in a Pool D engagement.

In the quarterfinals, Railways will meet Uttar Pradesh, Haryana will face Chandigarh, Odisha will take on Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy (MPHA) will lock horns with Punjab.
