BEML (Bangalore) put up a plucky show to defeat Postal 4-1 in the ‘A' division hockey league encounter here on Friday.
Kiran put the winner on the board with a goal in the very first minute and then Nagalingaswamy added one more five minutes later.
Though Taranath pulled one back for the Postal side in the 47th minute, a double strike by Surendra in a span of three minutes late in the match gave the final scoreline a healthy look.
