Baskaran to coach Indian team again

Olympics gold medallist and coach V. Baskaran returns to competitive hockey as coach again for the senior team and will work under chief coach Terry Walsh of Australia.

“It is a pleasant surprise for me and am looking forward to working with Terry Walsh for the betterment of Indian hockey,” Baskaran said.

He will be with the senior team now training at Bhopal SAI Centre in preparation for the FIH World Hockey League finals in Delhi in January next and the World Cup at the Hague in May-June.
