Asian Champions Trophy: India blanks China

V. Raghunath scored a goal in either half as India began its Asia Champion Trophy hockey campaign with a dominating 4-0 win over China here on Thursday.

S.V. Sunil put India ahead in the 13th minute and Ragunath doubled the lead seven minutes later. Raghunath made it 3-0 in 52nd through a low flick while Bimal Lakra completed the tally in the 53rd minute after he deflected a pass from Rupinder.
