Meanwhile, Karnataka rode on its captain Aiyappa P.R. Paradanda’s brace to outplay Kerala 5-0 and Tamil Nadu beat Uttrakhand 5-0.

SAI (Bhopal) held Maharashtra to a 1-1 draw.
