Formula One’s Grand Prix Driver Association (GPDA) has launched a survey to get feedback from fans to improve the show in light of falling attendances in circuits and reducing television viewing figures.
GPDA was first formed in 1961 and was disbanded in 1982 before being revived after Ayrton Senna’s death in 1994. It has largely worked only in the areas of driver and track safety and for the first time has initiated an effort of this kind.
The survey was launched on Thursday at Monaco with the backing of F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone. The online survey is done in partnership with Motorsport.com and fans can take the survey visiting gpda.motorsport.com.
