Yokohama beats Man United in preseason friendly

Yoshihito Fujita scored with three minutes left to lead Yokohama F Marinos to a 3-2 pre-season win over Manchester United on Tuesday.

Fujita beat United goalkeeper David de Gea with a low, left-foot drive in the 87th minute to hand the English champions their second pre-season loss under David Moyes.

Yokohama got on the scoresheet only 27 seconds in when Marquinhos pounced on a poorly-cleared ball to volley home from 10m.

United equalized in the 19th minute when Wilfried Zaha fired a low cross that deflected off a Yokohama defender to Jesse Lingard, who tapped in from close range.

An own-goal by Yokohama defender Masakazu Tashiro in the 31st made it 2-1 for United, but the Japanese hosts equalized in the 49th on a header by Fabio.
