Tata Football Academy wins u-19 I-League

Tata Football Academy (TFA) emerged the winner while East Bengal finished runner-up after the final round of u-19 I-league tournament here on Tuesday.

Captain K. Udanta Singh (36th, 39th, 61st and 79th) scored all the four goals as TFA thrashed Hindustan FC 4-0. With this win, TFA, with 13 points from four wins and a draw, topped the chart.

In an inconsequential match, Sesa Goa beat AIFF Navi Mumbai Academy 3-1 while East Bengal defeated Shillong Lajong FC through Jiten Murmu’s lone goal in the 18th minute. It finished with 10 points from three wins, one loss and a draw. Shillong Lajong finished with six points.
