India's football captain Sunil Chhetri fancies Spain's chances at Euro Cup 2012.

“I feel Germany, Italy and Spain will be in the semifinals. But Spain has always been my favourite team. It is playing well, is a formidable team and hence my prediction that it will win,” said Chhetri at the felicitation function of Sanjeev Saram Mehra (owner Saran Sports) for being recognised by the Limca Book of Records for running its Corporate 5s event for a record 11 years, with 221 team taking part.

Responding to reports that Dutchman Wim Koevermans is likely to be appointed the national team's coach, Chhetri said: “We, as players will give 100 per cent to any coach. But longer the team's association with a coach the better. There has to be stability. It has to be like a family.”
