World and European champions Spain continue to lead the FIFA world rankings ahead of Germany.

Football’s world controlling body FIFA on Thursday released the February world rankings, that see Spain lead their European rivals by 153 points.

Argentina, who is a further 156 points behind, remains in third.

England moved up two places to fourth, while Italy dropped one and is now fifth, ahead of Colombia and Portugal, who share sixth place.

The top 10 are completed by the Netherlands, Croatia and Russia.

The rankings are dominated by the Africa Cup of Nations, which ended Sunday with Nigeria beating Burkina Faso 1—0 in the final.

The Super Eagles moved 22 places to 30th — their best ranking since August 2010 — while Burkina Faso’s Stallions climbed an astonishing 37 places and are now ranked 55th.
