Sherwood appointed new Tottenham manager

Tottenham Hotspur announced the appointment of Tim Sherwood as their new manager on Monday night.

The former Spurs midfielder signed a contract to the end of the 2014-15 season, the Premier League club confirmed via their official Twitter feed.

Sherwood had taken charge of the team for two games after the sacking of Andre Villas Boas earlier this month.
