Dutchman Robben extended his current deal, until 2015, by putting pen to paper on a two-year extension on Wednesday, reports Xinhua .

“I am very pleased that my contract is signed so that I can continue my hunt for titles with Bayern. It is my fifth year in Munich and three years are still ahead of me. I am looking forward to the coming years and many titles with Bayern,” the midfielder told the club’s website.

“We are very delighted that Arjen extended his contract until 2017. He is a great footballer, which he has not only proven in the UEFA Champions League final 2013 in Wembley. He is a key player of our team and will remain so for the next years,” Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.

Since wearing Bayern’s jersey, Robben won two German Bundesliga titles, two German Cups (DFB Pokal) and one UEFA Champions League trophy.
