Ralte to replace Mondal

Bengaluru: Bengaluru FC (BFC) has brought goalkeeper Lathuammawia Ralte back into the squad as a replacement for the injured Abhra Mondal.

Ralte will stand between the sticks in BFC’s upcoming ISL match against NorthEast United FC at Guwahati on Friday.

Ralte has been included as first-choice custodian Gurpreet Singh is out with a two-match suspension as a result of his clash in BFC’s previous match against FC Goa. Mondal, who took Gurpreet’s spot on the pitch, suffered a hamstring injury during the course of the same encounter and has been ruled out for four weeks.

Before the start of the season, Ralte had suffered a low-grade II disruption of the anterior-inferior tibio-fibular ligament, which had ruled him out of action. Sports Reporter
