January 13, 2013 01:37 am | Updated 01:37 am IST - Mapusa:

Prayag United SC completed a hat-trick of wins as it came from behind to defeat Sporting Clube de Goa 2-1 in an I-League match on Saturday.

After victories over Dempo SC and Pune FC, Prayag started favourite against Sporting Clube but Ogba Kalu’s strike in the 24th minute seemed to upset the momentum of the Kolkata giant.

Prayag, however, turned the match around in the second half when Ranty Martins equalised in the 48th and Bello Rasaq scored the winner with a majestic free-kick in the 77th.

The results:

At Mapusa: Sporting Clube 1 (Ogba Kalu 24) lost to Prayag United 2 (Ranty Martins 48, Bello Rasaq 77).

At Pune: Air India 1 (Henry Ezeh 37) drew with Pailan Arrows Rajinder Kumar 47).
