The second edition of the Parikrma Champions League inter-school football tournament will commence on October 3 at the Football Stadium here.

Speaking at the inauguration function on Tuesday, KSFA President A.R. Khaleel said tournaments such as these provided children an escape from crime and other ills of society. Khaleel added that the KSFA would remain committed to all initiatives which help promote football among children.

Thirteen schools from Bangalore and three outstation teams would compete in this tournament organised by the Parikrma Humanity Foundation, a non-profit organisation. Former athelete Ashwini Nachappa was also present at the function.
