Monaco goalkeeper Flavio Roma is set to join AC Milan after eight seasons in the French league.
The French first-division club said on its website on Thursday that Roma will join Milan, but did not provide further details.
The 35-year-old Roma had one year left on his Monaco contract.
“Monaco and AC Milan have reached an agreement for the transfer of Flavio Roma,” Monaco said. “The Italian goalkeeper will take up a new challenge in the colours of the Lombardy club.”
Roma played 247 games for Monaco, and was instrumental in the club’s run to the Champions League final in 2004.
