Germany coach Joachim Loew believes Mesut Oezil will have no problems settling in at Arsenal following his move from Real Madrid.

Oezil scored Germany’s second goal from the penalty spot in Tuesday’s 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over the Faroe Islands after he provided the pass to Thomas Mueller, who fell under a challenge in the area.

The midfielder was expected in London on Wednesday and could make his Premier League debut at Sunderland on Saturday.

“Mesut is a player who can deal relatively quickly with another club and another coach,” Loew said.

“He will join up with two players (Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski) he knows very well and counts as friends. For this reason it won’t be too difficult,” Loew said.
